Outdoors Everyday Challenge Day 23-what if winter's over?

Outdoors Everyday Challenge Day 23-what if winter's over?

Day 23
I know in my heart that every year we get a late snowfall. A couple years ago I took Bobby snowboarding for the first time 2 days before March break started. But what if we don't get another snowfall? I feel I'm not ready. I still have so much winter love left inside of me. Am I going to have to move to North Bay?
Maybe I will look at some happy summer pictures of my kids. Maybe that will help me appreciate the oncoming spring and get over my loss of a winter that wasn't.
Now I feel like I'm not being inspiring at all, all this whining about nice weather! WTH.
Confession time....I didn't go longboarding today, I had a nap, and by the time I went outside, it was too late to do anything fun. So relearning for the 10 billionth time: Getting out the door is the hardest part, and once you get out there, staying out is the very best thing.
Does anyone else face this problem? I need a dog to walk.
Until tomorrow, have an outdoorsy day.

My intention was to get some exercise, which meant covering some distance at a reasonable pace. My intention is important, as it affects many other choices: type of shoes, clothing, walking poles, water, binoculars, camera etc.

Good For You Momma

After stopping for the dogs to poop and stopping to change Jett’s diaper (twice) we were off!! We walked through a sunny meadow, climbed up the frozen cascades and returned via a side trail that skirted the riverbank. Bliss.
