Outdoors Everyday Challenge Day 26 There's more to an outdoor challenge than going outdoors
Today I went to a good friend's annual Farch party. She has this party every year to have something to look forward to in the terrible time between the end of February and the beginning of March. (see it's not just me who is aware of February's darkness-metaphoric and real darkness)
This is the third or forth year (or sixth) but there is a great group of friends that I see only 3 times a year at this friends parties. It is so great to catch up with these amazing women. Today I spent quite a bit of the party catching up with a good friend Jill-Marie.
I told her about the challenge and she said she wasn't sure if she could stick with something for 30 days. Well that got me thinking about maybe the magic of the Outdoors Everyday Challenge isn't just in going outdoors, but in sticking with something for 30 days.
So if you've stuck with us for 26 days, give yourself a pat on the back, because it is really quite a thing you've done. (and don't wave it off, 'ahh, it's nothin')
Today's my big hike on the Humber day, will I see you out there? I'm going to get a cool shot of some rocks-and that's your photo challenge.
Until tomorrow, have an outdoorsy day.
