Outdoors Everyday Challenge-Day 29

by Anna R March 01, 2017

Day 29
Last night I went to bed just after 11, and just before I fell asleep, I popped awake-I had completely forgot to write today's newsletter! How after 28 days of writing posts for the next day did it so completely slip my mind. But I was so tired, I let myself fall asleep, and here I am 5:00 am writing it. I thought it was a habit, that if I did something regularly it became automatic. Apparently not. Apparently (for me at least) effort is still involved.
There's an interesting lesson in this, sadly it's too early in the morning for me to properly articulate it. Something about forgetting a habit. But it is the Outdoors Everyday Challenge, not the 'write a post everyday challenge' so maybe I haven't really forgotten the important thing. I did go outdoors.
Today is supposed to be crappy, may be time to crack open your puddle boots.
Until tomorrow, have an outdoorsy day.

Yesterday on my walk at the Humber I found this mitten. All by itself, kindly someone had put in on a branch incase it's owner came looking for it. I thought it was a fitting pic for the last Monday of the challenge.
