Day 16 Flowers and birds

Day 16 Flowers and birds

Day 16
Today while out for my Wednesday walk at High Park, Cathy and I saw a beautiful cardinal. It was bright red so we knew it was the male, and not far off was the more brown coloured female. Later walking home from the Junction I met a woman who was carrying her shopping home from Freshco and I could see, sticking out of her grocery bag, a bunch of flowers. I of course, had to stop and comment on what a good idea it was to buy flowers, and she said she couldn't resist adding some colour to such a grey day.
I found this flower sculpture at High Park, which is cool because I don't know if I could have found a real flower to take a picture of. Your photo challenge for today is take a picture of a flower. Good luck, this may be the most challenging photo prompt yet.

My intention is important, as it affects many other choices: type of shoes, clothing, walking poles, water, binoculars, camera etc.

Good For You Momma

After stopping for the dogs to poop and stopping to change Jett’s diaper (twice) we were off!! We walked through a sunny meadow, climbed up the frozen cascades and returned via a side trail that skirted the riverbank. Bliss.
