Day 22: Hmmm?

Day 22: Hmmm?

Good morning Challengers. How are you feeling this morning? As I typed that sentence I realize I have spent the last 22 days talking about me, and not asking much about how you all are. So...to quote Bette Midler, "Enough about me, how about you? How do you like me?" (Sorry couldn't resist)

But seriously, how are you? Has doing the challenge made February easier? I can't say this has been the easiest February ever, but my sister can attest to a lack of desperate phone calls, so I guess that speaks for itself.

Weatherwise, (for me) this has been an amazing February. Lots of snow and no two week -30 cold snaps. Naturewise though, I have not spent enough time in nature. I guess I'm coming to the conclusion that just being outdoors isn't enough to keep spirits up in the winter, there needs to be nature time mixed in with your outdoors.

So that's today's challenge, can you get into some nature for some of your outdoors time? (My day is pretty stacked and I'm not sure if I can do it, but I am committing to do it some time this weekend.)

Until tomorrow, have an outdoorsy day.

Let's get a picture of a natural beauty today.

Day 27: outdoors as a sensory experience.

I am aware of what my body needs - active, upright, arms swinging motion. I notice there is a tone to my walk - purposeful, present, confident.  I notice the openness around me, the cleared sidewalks and roads, the clouds are softening, lightening up, revealing a soft blue sky.
