Day Five: Am I the only one who like the cold snowy weather?

Day Five: Am I the only one who like the cold snowy weather?

Good morning Challengers

Did you get outdoors and enjoy some of the gorgeous spring-like weather yesterday? It sure was warm...and wet. Honestly, I prefer brisk and snowy this time of year, but I'm sure it will be back soon enough.

Honesty time: my outdoors time today was made mostly of walking across the parking lot. Car to Ikea, car to Home Depot, car to house, car to Post Office, car to doctor's office. Probably if I counted my outdoor minutes, I was at 30. But it wasn't the appreciate nature type of outdoors time that like. Tomorrow, I'll commit to enjoying my outdoors time. I'll be back in Dundas, Ontario, so a nice walk through the driving park will be perfect.

So, I guess that's the question, is getting outdoors enough, or do we have to appreciate it too?

Until tomorrow, have an outdoorsy day. And your photo prompt for the day, take a picture of something you appreciate, double points if it's outside.

My intention is important, as it affects many other choices: type of shoes, clothing, walking poles, water, binoculars, camera etc.

Good For You Momma

After stopping for the dogs to poop and stopping to change Jett’s diaper (twice) we were off!! We walked through a sunny meadow, climbed up the frozen cascades and returned via a side trail that skirted the riverbank. Bliss.
