he first year I did the challenge my goal was to spend 2 hours a day outdoors. I'm a long way from that right now, so today, I was outdoors for over 2 hours, yes that was me longboarding through the Junction. I will do it again tomorrow, and hopefully Saturday and Sunday. I'll report back next week, if I'm feeling better.

So relearning for the 10 billionth time: Getting out the door is the hardest part, and once you get out there, staying out is the very best thing.

Wait what? How exactly did it happen that our little 30 day challenge is almost over. Just over a week left. I find it really enlightening to do this challenge, because it makes me really mindful of the passage of time, and how I'm spending my time.

When my kids were in school, it was easy to build an outdoors ritual, but now I don't have that forced activity any more I'm having trouble finding a groove. I do get out everyday, honestly I go a little coocoo if I don't, but it doesn't flow easily into my day the way it used to.
