Being off on maternity leave with your baby for the summer is amazing! However, protecting your baby’s precious skin from the sun can be a challenge. Sure there are sunscreens available, but I have yet to meet a baby who enjoyed the sunscreen application process (or a mom for that matter) That’s why we love these new Full Body UV Sun Suits from January Baby. They are developed by the same Bloor West mom who also makes the popular Smittens.

These new sun suits are made from a polyester/spandex blend that provides all day UVA and UVB protection. The suit has a UPF 50 rating (the highest available rating) and blocks 97.5% of the sun’s rays. Our panel of mom testers recently tried out these suits on their little ones, and here are some of the features they loved:
“I love the easy to use zip-up front. No struggling to remove a wet rash guard over the head of a squirmy toddler!”
“Unlike other suits, this one has long sleeves and long legs, which provides full body coverage.”
“I was able to get a suit that was a bit larger than my baby’s current height and just fold up the sleeves and legs. This will give her room to grow.”
“I like the high neck coverage, it protects the sensitive spot at the back of her neck.”
“She found the suit so comfortable I was able to leave her in it all day. Unlike traditional swim suits that you would only use when you were by the water.”
“The design looks adorable on her”

Available in sizes 6 months – 4 years, the suits retail for less than $58 and are available online at www.JanuaryBaby.com
